On behalf of the Alliston Tennis Club, I would like to invite you to our 50th anniversary cake cutting celebration on June 21 at 6:30 pm at the courts.

The founding President of the club, Carolyn Knowles is currently our club treasurer and has been a proud supporter of tennis throughout the years.

The Ontario Tennis Association National Bank Roadshow will be providing a free doubles play clinic starting at 7 pm along with prizes and giveaways.

NEW! Thursday Night Semi-Competitive Play

Good Afternoon All,

Thank you to those who came out last night ... was a fun hit and great to meet you all! After some conversation with the group and feedback from the spreadsheet entries, we are going to change the doubles league night to a more social format. Please see below and looking forward to seeing everyone next Thursday at 7 pm!

Time: Thursday Nights - 7 pm - 9 pm

Format:

• Drop in social doubles play 
• Organize into groups and play 3 games
• Winning team moves up to next court (move to the left)
• Winning team on the far left court (by the gate) stay on that court
• Losing team moves right
• Losing team on far right court (closest to light switch box) move off court and wait for next match to rejoin (assuming there are more players than courts available)
• Both winning and losing teams must split up for next match
• Warm up for 15 minutes, any extra players will need to wait to sub on
• If there are uneven numbers, then losing team would only sub 1 player

The Ontario Tennis Association Smash Cage is returning to the Alliston Potato Festival Fairgrounds on Sunday August 13th between 10-4 pm.

Come and measure the speed of your hot serve and have a chance to win prizes.

Free with admission to the Fairgrounds behind the Fire Hall at Church St South and Beech St in Alliston.

Welcome to the 2023 tennis season in Alliston Online Registration is now available. 2023 Online Registration Form For a Family Membership please have only one person register. 

That person then enters their family members, filling out the appropriate fields and contact information (e-mail, cell phone etc.) on the Registration Form. 

Your membership fees can be paid using E-transfer to: allistontennisclub@gmail.com or by cheque when picking up a court key. Please bring in previous years keys. Athletic Wright Field 251 Albert St East, Alliston, ON Park along Parsons Road beside field and walk to the court 

Adults $65, Juniors $40 (under 21 years Jan 1), & Family $140 (2 adults and all children under 21) Payment by e-transfer and cheque is preferred.

2023 Lessons

We welcome our new instructor Peter Simko, who is starting lessons on Tuesday May 16 at our club.

Peter will be teaching our Junior and Adult lessons as well as stroke clinics at the club. He brings a wealth of teaching experience to our club. Peter is teaching at local area facilities in Barrie, Creemore and has been at other clubs in Ontario. 

 Start date May 16. Sessions will run 4 weeks. 

Tuesday Juniors  5-6 p.m. 

Adults 6-7 p.m. Beginner and Intermediate levels 

Minimum of 4 players per session required for classes 

Lessons for $15.00 per player / hour 

Pre-Register your request with preferred date and times. 

Bring a racquet and plenty of water to stay hydrated!

Unfortunately our coach Eileen Beck is not available for lessons this season. On behalf of myself and all the club members, I wish to thank Eileen for her contribution to the betterment of tennis at our club for the past 4 years. Her innovative methods in teaching were enjoyed by young and old and were instrumental in growing the members' involvement. We thank Eileen for sharing her tennis knowledge and enthusiasm on and off the courts. We wish her continued success in her future endeavors. Thank you, Andrew Kokelj, President
